We think the title spells out all you need to know!
Last week we visited a very popular and famous Franchise in Seoul that has a free refill of Salmon sashimi! The food was very good quality, the service was friendly (although we went at a peak hour on a Friday night so it was VERY crowded and noisy), and the other items are also pretty delicious!
There are 2 set menus, and you have to order as many set menus as there are people (ie: three people cannot order 2 set menus and expect to get free refills!)
Unfortunately for the alone diners: there needs to be a minimum of 2 orders!
Salmon Sashimi set: 14,900 won, comes to salmon sashimi, fried squid, seafood pancake and salad!
Salmon Sashimi and Rice set: 16,900 won comes with salmon sashimi, rice with salmon, fried squid, seafood pancake and salad!
Everything EXCEPT the salad is free refill! (Salad costs 2,000 won extra per refill).
The salmon is cut beautifully, fresh and meaty, and comes to both tartare sauce and raw onions, as well as a small portion of flying fish roe! It tastes beautiful, and if you have already developed Korean tastebuds you will find soy sauce and wasabi at the table.
Run out of food? Ask for more!
Second serving onward they serve you less, but don’t worry, it’s not because they don’t WANT you to eat, but because they don’t want leftovers! Continue asking for as many refills as you want, but if you want them to give you more at once, just let them know!
Other delicious items on the menu include:
So amazing and delicious fried squid, that comes with a sweet soy sauce! We ordered this countless of times!
This was called seafood pancake but we didn’t actually see the seafood…
And Salad. Which was also delicious, but very healthy and we were too excited about the salmon to really pay attention to this…
If you are planning on drinking and eating a lot, there is also alot of other different type of food on the menu! All prized between 7,000 won to 13,000 won! It ranges from Korean style fishcakes, Nagasaki Jjambpong, Croquette and more!
They also sell a lot of different types of alcohol, so what about trying a Korean soju bomb?? It is a very interesting combination of beer and soju that Koreans love!
However if you end up leaving any food, you will end up having to pay 10,000 won as a penalty! This will go towards a African Charity fund. Also, it is highly discouraged to take food home, because takeaway will cost you 100,000 won! (I know! The zeros!)
This is a great and affordable place to visit, and there are so many locations throughout Seoul! We have listed the addresses in Korean to get you the most exact address, so just copy and paste it into google maps to find your way!
