One of the most iconic brands- Hermes!
Do you remember our previous post looking into Dosan Park, one of the most luxurious districts in Seoul?
While we were doing our research, we discovered that Hermes, one of the most famous and iconic brands in history, has a CAFE in Seoul!
Hermes is one of the most famous brands in history, and one of the most expensive! They sell a variety of different types of goods from clothings, accesories, leather goods, to even home goods (china, ashtray, and the unusual ornament). But they are probably most famous for their famous bags which are said to have a waiting list of YEARS, as well as their silk scarves!

While we cannot really imagine buying something from this store in this lifetime, the store in Seoul gives you the unique opportunity to dine amongst some of the most expensive products in the world! Yes!
Maison Hermes in Dosan Park has a cafe!
We thought to take this opportuntiy to go check out the cafe ourselves, and see if it is really true.
A beautiful copper building that gleams underneath the sunlight, it is hard to miss once you get to Dosan Park!
The building is a large stand alone building that was designed by a famous architect!
It is situated on the main street leading right up to Dosan Park!
Once you enter the store (if you are not intimidated by the beautiful sales associates who call this place their work environment) you will ened to head downstairs into the basement. That is where the cafe is located!
Tada! Isn’t it beautiful!
The cafe is a quietly elegant and sumptuous lounge with many small tables looking out into a square filled with natural light. There are a few display pieces alongst the wall, and overall it is very serene and elegant.
Whether you sit along the wall in one of their booths or in a stand alone table, there is a very well dressed member of staff standing unobtrusively in the corner- maybe it is because it happens to be one of the most luxurious brands, but even the staff are courteous and elegant!
Some more interesting photos taken of the cafe!
Additionally, the menu items are not as outrageously expensive as we feared! Yes, it is pricey, but for the once in a life time experience of dining on Hermes China? Why not?
The plating also provides an amazing photo taking experience! We checked out instagram and saw some very beautiful and almost too pretty to eat looking dishes!
So what about taking a break from some shopping and sightseeing, and visiting an iconic landmark in Seoul?
